I’m a believer in films that live forever. Films you will love. Films that engage you. Films that drive emotion. Films with meaning. Films with a story. We are making engaging films just like that.
Everyone’s a filmmaker these days. Not us. We are NOT throwaway content filmmakers. We declare ourselves purist filmmakers. That is film, film and more film. For any film to live forever it needs a story that lasts forever. We have no interest in making junk throwaway content. As I said - we are filmmakers.
That also means we don’t really make the type of film that has one cameraman, one rode or lapel mic and one person making the film.
The Best Storytellers - Your Best Story
If you don’t have a story you don’t have a film. Here’s the big problem these days. We find a lot of new filmmakers can do things with cameras and editing that are a whole new level and that is amazing. But the biggest gap right now is the STORY. If you want an incredible film you must have an incredible story.
Your story has to be engaging, compelling, thrilling exhausting, moving, emotional, and more. There has to be a beginning, an end, and a middle. There needs to be a central figure, a hero, a villain an antagonist, a protagonist, or someone that presses the buttons of those watching.
And even then if you have them you must have a story that leaves the viewer asking or even demanding more.
That’s what makes a film live forever. That is what will make your film stand out amongst a sea of treadmill films. We have decades of storytelling behind us.

A New Take On Old-School Filmmaking
Think of an old film that has been in your head all of your life. Mine are The 39 Steps, Psycho, The Godfather, The Birds, Star Wars, It’s a Wonderful Life, and a few others. Yours? When we make a film we do a modern take on the old-school way.
Our films start with an idea and then develop into a script, storyboards, lighting crew, multiple cameras, runners, producers, directors, make-up, colourists, editors, and even someone to grab our lunch.
Like you, we want your film to mean something, to drive a point, to open hearts or minds, create intrigue, create a conversation, and then reveal the story behind your real story. That is old-school film mastery. I demand that for you. I demand that for me. I demand that from my whole team of misfit filmmakers.

All of the following films are purposely and creatively engineered to live forever. They are designed to create an emotional internal response from the viewer. They reveal a magical story, create emotion through imagery and tell you something different or you just didn’t know.
For example, in my film, The Curator just listen closely to the start of the film.
You can hear the trolley wheel going over a bumpy street. Then you hear an old-school bell.
Why did I add them?
The trolley is a sound that everyone and anyone can hear daily around the marketplace. I kept the screen black because I wanted the viewer to be transported into the street via their mind. It is a sound that is instantly recognizable and therefore instantly attaches itself to the viewer. The same goes for the bell. Two instant, yet historical sounds are embedded into the start of the film. This creates an instant attachment and a deeper recognition. In other words, the viewer has become part of the film. This is how one tiny part of a film makes it live forever.

Films That Live Forever - Here’s 4
The Curator is our latest masterpiece in film. It is a unique ‘Manchester-focused’ approach for Altrincham Market, Alty Market, and Market House. This is a brilliant 30-minute film that looks at the story behind the man behind the story. The detail in this film is huge if you listen and watch closely. 15 hours of film edited into a 27-minute documentary. I loved it.
The Mexican is the story of how a Mexican from California ended up owning a very cool boho coffee shop in a small town called Altrincham. Again I loved the start as you are engaged from the word go.
A ZOMBIE short called Bite Size is a masterclass in using no actors, almost no script, and just one central idea. This was filmed in blinding daylight in one location. It’s amazing what difference 2000-watt spots can make to a shoot. The twist at the end is very cool.
The Other Frontline is a superbly revealing documentary that is open and direct about the ‘crazy’ first 10 weeks of COVID-19 in a community pharmacy. GPs and hospitals had slammed their doors on the sick. The pharmacies had no PPE and a feeling of being thrown out alone to look after the sick. A fascinating and alarming film. The opening again is very strong. This is a film that will live forever.

If you have a no-show, sickness or crew emergency and want a film crew at very short notice - if we can get them - there is a 50% surcharge over the existing invoice. All expenses are also invoiced separately to the crew.
