Are you asking ...

  • Happiness is?

Happiness isn’t born, it’s created. When you think about your life, every single thing you do every minute of each day is designed to lead you to a happier place – hopefully. You work hard or harder for more money. More money pays for what you want or have to pay for. Paying for things or buying things you feel is based on what you’ve known all of your life to make you happier.

This book reveals one of the only ways that lasting happiness can be found and it isn't what you think it is.

A note from the author

I wrote this book to be part of the Zoomanity series of books. Zoomanity feeds us a false pretense that we are to name happiness. It can only result in one thing and that is less happiness. This book peels back the layers so you can really very quickly identify what it is that brings happiness into your life. Each chapter ends with a small exercise you can do in your mind there and then.

Happiness isn’t born, it’s created. When you think about your life, every single thing you do every minute of each day is designed to lead you into a happier place – hopefully. You work hard or harder for more money. More money pays for what you want or have to pay for. Paying for things or buying things you feel is based on what you’ve known all of your life to make you happier.

You get a better job because you feel a better job with better prospects will make you happier.

You start a new relationship because you feel being in a relationship will make you a happier person.

You go to the gym, to try and get fit and healthy so you look and feel better about the way you look. If you feel and look better you feel you will be a happier person. Yet your life might not be as happy as you’d like it to be, you may feel under many pressures and those pressures force you to look and listen to others.

You listen to what they say and do and yet despite trying these things you are still not happy with your own life. It seems whether it be money, relationships, health or any other subject, happiness is still the elusive dream that looks and feels exclusive to others.

You can see what you feel and believe is happiness in the lives of others yet you cannot see and feel the same in your own life.

Social media has you convinced that most are now enjoying a bigger, better happier life than you enjoy. The real effect is you become less happy when observing the lives of others. Let's be honest does a single photograph on social media where a friend looks as though their life is incredible really truly tell the story of a full 24-hour day or even a life? Of course not, it’s nothing more than a snapshot or a moment that represents a moment and no more than that.

You might feel you know what you want i.e. more money, a relationship, a better job etc. but is that what you need or what you simply want? A want and a need are both very different things with very different meanings behind them. Let's say you want a new iPhone or a new car or a new something. Yet the problem is what is new soon becomes old until the next new version arrives. In other words, feeding the demands of a want can never result in lasting happiness.

Happiness can be grasped and found in a moment but how long do those moments last for you? I know I have bought a new phone only to wish I had waited for a little longer after the even newer version is released yet the phone works and does what it is supposed to do. You should think of it like this.

WANT: If you want it but can live without it this is a want.

NEED: If you want it because you really need it for longer happiness – this is a need. There is nothing wrong with a want but it isn’t as critical as a need for your happiness. Do you know what is it that makes you genuinely happy or can you ever find your own lasting happiness? This small yet powerful read will take you on a personal journey towards a happier life.

Designed to be read in one sitting, it’s direct, it’s awakened and offers a detailed more personal approach to finding your own happiness. Available in all formats but I recommend the paperback is read with your favourite drink in silence.

If you are looking for happy clap ”just think positive and you’ll be happy”, April 5, 2016

This review is from: Happiness: Five Spiritual Laws For Happiness & Your Personal Escape from Zoomanity (Paperback)

You want more happiness? Read this. However, if you are looking for happy clap ”just think positive and you’ll be happy”, then this is not your book. I was very skeptical when I bought this because I’ve read way to many books that promise the moon and deliver bread crumbs. However, this book is different. It won’t give you unlimited riches in two days or less. It gives you something way more valuable; the ability to find out what actually makes you happy. Not what society wants you to be happy about. Not what your family thinks will make you happy. Not what your friends think is right for you. What will actually make you happy. Buy it. Read it. Do the simple excercises. It will change your life as it did mine.
